We realise that Adrian’s experience of wearing a face covering doesn’t reflect everyone’s in the autistic community. Lots of people find wearing a face covering find it very difficult or impossible, yet have been challenged or have faced abuse for not wearing one. This has reached a point where some people in the autistic community are not going out at all.
